Terrance Hough Jr.

Once again I have a blog to put together on a case I first heard about on the television show Fear Thy Neighbor. A lot of these types of cases, as is the case with a lot of murders, seem so senseless, and often preventable but for me I think this one is particularly senseless, if not preventable. But, the other strange thing about this case is that while there had been trouble between the neighbors years prior, it appears that there had not been a lot of issues in the two years leading up to the murders. Terrance Hough Jr. was a firefighter in the city of Cleveland Ohio. Due to a policy for city workers he was required to live within the city limits. This was mentioned several times in my research as if this was an issue for Hough, although he had obviously complied. He moved onto a street where other city workers, including at least one police officer lived. Terrance, his wife, Regina, and their children, at least one an infant when they moved, moved into a home next t...

David Watson

As I sit down to put this case together I am not exactly sure what I think about it. There were two trials against David Watson. The first trial ended in a mistrial when the jury could not come to a decision. Some of those jurors spoke out after the trial. And, there seemed to be much more information about that trial than the second one that was conducted about six months later and ended in his conviction. Some times it helps me see more or come to a better conclusion of things when I put them all together here, some times it does not. I suppose we will see which one this falls into. Linda Watson was last seen by her mother, Marilyn Cox, on August 20, 2000 when she dropped her off at her Tucson Arizona home. Linda's four year old daughter, Jordynn was with her father, David at the time. The following day a repairman went to Linda's home and while the back door was ajar Linda was no where to be found. Investigators would later find a broke cup inside t...

Lynn Turner

It often amazes me not just that people think that they can get away with murder but their motives behind them. We all know that one of the number one motives for murder is simple greed. Somehow money becomes more important than a human life. The thing that is most amazing to me in those cases is that almost always the murder is committed by someone who had at least at some point claimed to love the person. Then there are the people like Lynn Turner, who after doing it once and getting away with it tempted fate by doing it again. In the end it was this second time that brought light to the first and in the end she was sentenced to two life sentences, all for less than $200,000. Although in fairness she thought it was about twice that amount when she committed the second murder. Lynn Turner would be convicted in 2004 for the murder of her husband Glenn Turner and in 2007 for the murder of her longtime boyfriend and father of her children, Randy Thompson. She had bee...

Rebecca Bryan

A little after 10 pm on the night of September 20, 2011 in Mustang Oklahoma Rebecca Bryan called 9-1-1 and told the dispatcher that an intruder had come into her home and shot her husband as he lay on the couch. She would claim the main, who she did not know, had come in through the garage door, shot her husband and then looked at her and apologized saying that “he should have hired me.” Keith Bryan, a local fire chief, lay dying on the couch while the intruder, according to Rebecca went back out the same door he had entered nd drove off in a small, dark pickup truck. Apparently it seems that Rebecca also called some friends to comfort her in her time of need. Officers would arrive on the scene and while Rebecca's friends would later say that they were on the back porch Rebecca's behavior seemed odd as she made several phone calls to people calming recounting the gory details as to what had happened. Keith had not died right away and was taken to the hospit...
