I had to ask myself today if when I started going through my list of names if it was my goal to find some of the most heinous or gruesome cases. That is a bit difficult for me to do considering names just end up on a list for me to check later, often many months later. However, my last blog involved the murder of Logan Marr, a five year old girl who died at the hands of her foster mother. That was a horrible crime, but does not hold a candle to the case you are about to hear. Let us just say that I have read a lot of appeal papers in my day and this is the first that I recall in which the courts themselves in the appeal described a murder as "heinous" and "brutal." It was almost as if you could feel the disdain jumping from the pages from the judges. This is a case that makes you question humanity.
