For Any Of Those Who Have Commented

I am unsure that I have done an update, or whatever you want to call it like this, but I thought maybe somehow I should address that fact that I just became aware that there were over 20 comments waiting to be moderated and published on various blog entries.  I check my email daily and I knew I had not seen any in quite some time but that is not necessarily unusual.  I will have to look into Blogger  and see what, if any, changes were made somehow that has prevented me from receiving notice that someone has commented.  In the past I have received emails and I could simply approve them from my phone.

I should also point out that 99% of the comments that I receive are published.  In general I simply do not publish comments that are duplicates from the same person as I assume that was a mistake.  Only on the rare occasion will I deny an even hostile comment, most of which are directed at me personally.  

 That being said I am will try to check more often to ensure I have not missed things.

Matthew Heikkila

After a birthday dinner with her boyfriend, Matthew Heikkila on January 29, 1991 Marta Morales went to his home that he shared with his parents, Dawn and Richard. They had only been dating a few months and there had already been a few issues but until they reached the home things seemed to be going okay. However, they got to the home and Matthew pulled out handcuffs and put one on Marta and one on himself and led her into the house.  Once inside he proceeded to show her the body of his mother, whom he had shot hours earlier, before picking her up for their date.  Richard also laid in the home dead and Marta was likely shown his body too but most reports just state she saw Dawn's. Matthew then forced Marta to spend the night in the home handcuffed to him. The Murder of Garrett Phillips

It has been a while since I have sat down and taken the time to blog.  Every week I tell myself it needs to be done and then I always seem to fail.  I could maybe blame the summertime and being more active but in reality that probably is not a legitimate excuse.  So, once again I decided today was the day and after watching to television episodes that aired this weekend I already knew what case I wanted to talk about.
